Nearly one month into fixing oil prices, the government has yet again increased prices as crude soybean and palm oil registered a further rise in prices in the international market.<\/p>\n
From now on, each litre of loose soybean oil will cost Tk115 at the mill gate, Tk115 at the wholesale level and Tk117 at retail stores.<\/p>\n
Each litre of bottled soybean oil will sell for T127 at the mill gate, for Tk131 at the distributor or wholesaler level and for Tk139 at the retail level.<\/p>\n
The mill gate, wholesale and retail prices of each five-litre jars of soybean oil have been set at Tk620, Tk640 and Tk660 respectively.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, loose palm oil (super) prices would be Tk104 a litre at the mill gate, Tk106 and Tk109 at wholesale and retail levels.<\/p>\n
The commerce ministry made the move in line with the decision of the national committee concerned, reports Bangla Tribune.<\/p>\n
The prices, it claimed, were adjusted keeping in mind the \u201cinterest\u201d of refineries and consumers.<\/p>\n
On February 17, the commodity pricing committee set loose soybean oil price at Tk107 per litre at the mill gate, Tk110 per litre at the distributor level and Tk115 at the retail level.<\/p>\n
Bottled soybean oil prices were fixed at Tk123 per litre at the mill gate, Tk127 at the distributor level and Tk135 at retail. Besides, the price of five-litre bottles of soybean was set Tk590 at the mill gate, Tk610 at distributor lever and Tk630 at the retail level.<\/p>\n
It had the price of palm super oil at Tk95 at the mill gate, Tk98 at the distributor level and Tk104 at retail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
