{"id":1225,"date":"2021-04-01T08:42:02","date_gmt":"2021-04-01T02:42:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/financialherald.net\/?p=1225"},"modified":"2021-04-01T08:42:02","modified_gmt":"2021-04-01T02:42:02","slug":"rohingya-relocation-2495-more-set-for-bhashan-char-in-6th-phase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/financialherald.net\/?p=1225","title":{"rendered":"Rohingya relocation: 2,495 more set for Bhashan Char in 6th phase"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>They will join 14,000 other refugees who have already gone to the island<\/p>\n<p>About 2,500 Rohingyas are being relocated from the camps in Cox&#8217;s Bazar to Bhashan Char island in the 6th phase.<\/p>\n<p>Cox&#8217;s Bazar Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner (RRRC) Shah Rezwan Hayat said 47 buses carrying the Rohingyas have reached Chittagong.<\/p>\n<p>Rohingyas willing to go to Bhashan Char were brought to the temporary transit point at Ukhiya Degree College ground and given necessary items including food, water and medicine.<\/p>\n<p>Rohingya Majhis (leaders) said many forcibly displaced Myanmar nationals are now willing to move to Bhashan Char after learning about the facilities and quality of life there.<\/p>\n<p>Cox&#8217;s Bazar Additional RRRC Shamsuddoza Nayan said the Rohingyas would be taken to Bhashan Char from Patenga under the Navy&#8217;s management on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>In five phases, over 14,000 Rohingyas were shifted to Bhashan Char earlier.
